Our story began 50 years ago, when Luigi (Ciccio) and Giulietta decided to open a small fruit and vegetable shop in Fumane, a town in the province of Verona, located in the heart of Valpolicella.
Ciccio was in charge of buying the best fruit and vegetables every day, Giulietta taking care of and managing sales in store. The experience gained over the years and the desire to do more led to birth of Ortonuovo project. It was 1987, when Giulietta herself started cooking the first pots of Spinach, Catalonia and Erbette on a wood stove placed in the back room of the shop.
Passion, perseverance and devotion to the quality of our products allowed Ortonuovo to become a brand present in more than 250 stores throughout northern Italy.
